Saving money during a Pandemic with groceries in NYC

Coupons, Coupons and online grocery shopping!

Couponing has slowed down for me since this Covid-19 Pandemic and I need to still keep my budget as a mom to provide for my family.  The best thing to do since the stores have low stock on their shelves and limited supplies.  Load all the coupons on the apps in which you shop like Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid and then shop online with coupons attached and save at least $20 per shopping order that's like 30% or more savings!  I just got a huge cereal haul for the kids at Walgreens.com and it did take a while to be delivered but eventually got it and stores were low on stock so was great!

How are you surviving the grocery runs with all this masks, low stock etc in a Pandemic?

Costco has long lines too and very frustrating while trying to Social distance and stay safe and feed our kids.

Daddy's on Duty??

I feel like this when Parenting everyday!  Need enough arms to get it all done and keep the "Peace" and  
"Strength" while at it!

Daddy's on Duty, is on my thoughts today, while on my way to pickup my son at school saw several Dad's very hands-on from pushing the stroller to carrying Bjorns.  Give those Dad's a "High Five" for doing the hard work most women do today with little ones around the city.  Now a days, Dads especially here in Brooklyn are Stay-At-Home Dads, and sure to all have funny stories to tell during stressful times!  And yes the job does not get us a PAYCHECK but very REWARDING!

Memorial Day Weekend Sales and Adventures!

This is the weekend to get my money and coupons ready for summer sales for the kids and Family.  Also any FREE activities Brooklyn has to offer which are many!

Shorts/Summer Dresses and swim stuff and shoes.  Get on all the sites and see whose got the best deals before you runoff escaping to Parks and Beaches and BBQ's!  If you want to learn how to save do it this way, a little sacrifice comes a long way.  I have saved our household a lot doing it this way.  Don't overshop, as they grow fast, then you have all these clothes sitting around waiting to move out of your apt and with little Space, I know what that could be like!

Tips!  Always check online deals on Wednesdays and first thing in the morning as sizes go out of stock quickly.  Most sales begin say Wed.

Anyway, stocked up on some Tea coupons and making my own Ice Tea and Lemonade for the weekend!!  Need to get some Peaches to make my favorite Peach Tea!
